Reevaluate your situation if something doesn’t feel right

Do you ever get the feeling like you’re lost, even though right now you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be according to¬†your longterm goals? Yes? It’s just about the right time to reevaluate your situation.

Reevaluate your situation, set new goals, adapt

That’s actually something everyone should do more often, because while life happens and you experience new things, it makes you grow and change as a person.

And so does your vision of your ideal life.

While it’s important to set longterm goals to get direction in life, it’s as much as important adapting them as you go and grow.

Adapt to your new self

Let’s say 5 or 10 years ago the perfect vision of your life was owning a successfull business in a specific field. Today you work in that field, but you’re not as successful as you want to be. Or maybe you are successful, but still you feel unfullfilled without really understanding why.

Maybe you’re in the wrong business. But not neccessarilly.

Maybe you just haven’t found the right way to deliver value to your clients. Or maybe you’ve been delivering to the wrong people.

No matter the reason – if you’re not happy, you should not settle just because, after all, owning this business was your goal.

Reevaluate your situation

If you’re not happy with something, just go and change it. Don’t get stuck just to prove something – to yourself or to anyone.

Take a step back.

And figure out what’s off.

Is it the business itself? Just some parts of it?

Or you just don’t “click” with your clients?

All of the aspects are important: you have to love what you do, how you do it and who you do it with.

This is the formula of true success and true happiness.

What’s next?

Ok. You’ve analized carefully every aspect of your current situation.

Now what?

Simply go back to step one: set your goals and follow a system that will take you there.
